I’m what I like to call a part-time¬†traveler. I have a 9 to 5 job that keeps me pretty busy, so I’m not out on the road all of the time, hopping from one country to the next (though that sounds amazing). I travel when I can, where I can, whether that’s all the way to Dubai or a couple of hours away to the Texas Hill Country. To me, traveling isn’t about how many stamps you can collect in your passport, but how many wonderful experiences you can have that enrich your life. There’s no reason that you have to travel halfway around the world to get that, or break your bank to do it either. I tend to travel modestly, though I have to admit I’m past the hostel days. I like to stay in unique places, like B&B’s or local apartments, and I like to immerse myself into local culture as much as possible. That being said, you’ll still catch me at various “tourist” destinations too, because I’m not going to travel to an amazing place only to miss a unique attraction there simply because it’s “touristy.”

Within this blog you’ll find a ton of original content that hopefully you find interesting, unique, and exciting. There will be tips, stories, photography, and discussions about current trends in travel. There will also be featured guest posts from some of the savviest, funnest travelers I know. If you have a story to tell, let me know – I’d love to feature you!

I don’t have a fancy camera, and I don’t have millions of dollars to spend. But I do have a sense of an adventure and a desire to see as much of the world as I can. So grab your passport and come join me!
